(May 5, 2026) – The 2026 Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s Texas Team Trail presented by Progressive delivered another highly competitive event at Stop #3 on Lake Texoma, tightening an already intense race for the 2026 Progressive Team of the Year title.

With three events now complete, Howe / Wadsworth have taken control of the Progressive Team of the Year standings with 736 total points, backed by consistent, high-level finishes across Toledo Bend, Sam Rayburn, and Lake Texoma. Their performance continues to set the pace for the field as the season heads toward its final stretch.
Just behind them, Marshall / Rose sit in second place with 733 points, only three points off the lead, keeping the race extremely close. Crowell / Taylor hold strong in third place with 708 points, maintaining a solid position within striking distance.

Lake Texoma proved to be a pivotal stop, with shifting conditions and tight weights creating movement across the standings and setting the stage for a dramatic finish to the season.

NEXT STOP: LAKE RAY ROBERTS

The Texas Team Trail now turns its attention to the final stop of the 2026 season at Lake Ray Roberts in Sanger, Texas, scheduled for May 16, 2026.
Anglers will kick things off with mandatory registration and check-in on Friday, May 15 at Ray Roberts Marina, followed by tournament competition on Saturday. Takeoff is set for first safe light (approximately 6:30 a.m.), with weigh-in beginning at 3:00 p.m.
With the Progressive Team of the Year race tighter than ever, Lake Ray Roberts will serve as the deciding battleground on which teams move on to compete at the season ending championship on Lake Palestine as well as putting teams into position for the top 25 payout after the championship for the final teams in the Progressive Team of the Year standings.
