Lake Ray Roberts, TX (May 16, 2026) – Stop 4 of the 2026 Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s Texas Team Trail presented by Progressive brought anglers to Lake Ray Roberts, where heavy bags and tight margins highlighted another competitive event in the Progressive Team of the Year race.
Several teams brought impressive limits to the scales throughout the day, but it was Morrison & Parker who separated themselves from the field with a massive 27-pound, 0-ounce limit to secure the victory.
Winners – Morrison & Parker (1st Place | 27-0)

Morrison & Parker leaned on their experience and knowledge of Lake Ray Roberts to overcome difficult conditions and put together the biggest bag of the tournament.
“We’ve got a lot of knowledge on this lake, so we bounced around and fished everywhere we thought we could catch a fish and just grinded up to 27 pounds.”
The duo started the morning in an area where they had found quality fish during practice, quickly boating a bass close to five pounds before the area slowed down unexpectedly. From there, they adjusted throughout the day, rotating through multiple areas across the lake and grinding out key bites in challenging wind conditions.
“We literally used every stick that we know that we could fish today in that wind. We had to work for every bite we got today.”
The win earned the Bennett family a brand new Nitro Z18 powered by a Mercury 150 Pro XS and a total payout of $45,225!
Second Place & Big Bass – Burns / Burns (2nd Place | 25-13)

Burns / Burns turned in an impressive performance of their own, weighing 25 pounds, 13 ounces to secure second place overall while also claiming Big Bass honors and a 8 ft Power-Pole Pro II Shallow Water Anchor with an 8-pound, 12-ounce giant.
“We had a nice run early and were trying to work for some bigger fish later in the day. He ended up catching one of the bigger fish.”
Fishing through windy conditions all day, the team stayed consistent early before focusing on upgrading throughout the afternoon. Their persistence paid off with one of the biggest fish of the tournament and a strong second-place finish.
“We caught a lot of fish out there in the wind and dealt with that all day, and I think it paid off.”
Their standout bass proved to be the biggest fish weighed during the event and helped separate them from an incredibly tight leaderboard where ounces made all the difference.
