SPRINGFIELD, MO [June 28, 2026] – The Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Texas Team Trail presented by Progressive has released its 2027 schedule, giving anglers a mix of new opportunities, familiar favorites and a Championship return to a lake that showed out at the finale of the 2026 season.
The 2027 season will feature four regular season stops before the trail closes with a two-day Championship on Lake Palestine in Tyler, TX. The schedule opens February 6 on Lake Conroe, followed by a March 6 stop at Toledo Bend, where anglers will launch from the new Sabinetown facility. On May 1, the trail returns to Lake Texoma and West Bay Casino and Resort. The regular season wraps May 22 at Lake ‘O the Pines, a new venue for the Texas Team Trail.
After huge weights and a strong welcome from Visit Tyler, TXTT will return to Lake Palestine for a two day shootout with Team of the Year on the line! Lake Palestine proved last season that it can show out on a Championship stage, producing big weights and a strong host-community experience with Visit Tyler. Its return gives the top qualifying teams another shot at a fishery capable of the kind of two-day Championship drama TXTT anglers expect.

More than a Tournament Trail
For 2026 Team of the Year angler, Hayden Marshall, the schedule brings the right balance of new water and proven venues.
“The addition of Conroe and Lake ‘O the Pines is exciting because it opens the door for a fresh group of anglers, but it also gives the guys who have been fishing TXTT a chance to break down new water,” Marshall said. “I’m probably most excited for Pines. It has been fishing really well, and it feels like that one could be anybody’s game. Toledo is always a fun stop, and that new ramp is going to be a great venue. Then to finish at Palestine, after the weights we saw there, makes the whole schedule really strong.”
Hayden Marshall has followed TXTT since he was a kid, long before he became a 2026 Team of the Year angler. To him, the trail still carries the same draw: strong competition, well run-events and a sense of community
“I grew up watching Texas Team Trail and dreaming about fishing against the best guys in this part of the country,” Marshall said. “Now that I’ve been part of it, what stands out is that it really does feel like a family. People are accessible, the events are run well, and you feel like the trail is working to reward and promote its anglers. The payouts matter, but the other opportunities do too. The photos, social content, national TV coverage and livestream, for a grassroots angler, having the chance to be seen on those platforms is a big deal.”
Registration for the 2027 season is expected to open in early 2027. Additional details, including priority entry, rules, fact sheets and payouts will be announced at a later date.
