Texas Team Trail, Bass Pro Shops, and Visit Tyler are proud to announce that the Texas Team Trail Championship presented by Progressive is coming to Tyler, TX, bringing one of the region’s premier grassroots tournament trails and more than 200 anglers to the area.

The championship weekend will welcome the top Texas Team Trail anglers, families, sponsors and outdoor enthusiasts for a multi-day event experience hosted in partnership with Bass Pro Shops – Tyler and Visit Tyler. Beyond the tournament competition the weekend will feature a fan festival, youth fishing event, giveaways, a NASCAR display, and a public weigh-in experience.

Visit Tyler to host Welcome Dinner

As part of the partnership, Visit Tyler and SPORTyler will serve as official host of the Championship Welcome Dinner, held during registration Friday June 5, 2026 at Bass Pro Shops – Tyler. This hosted dinner will help kick off championship weekend with a first-class welcome to the Tyler community, highlighting the city as a destination for outdoor recreations, fishing, and family oriented events.

Future Lone Star Legends Tournament

In addition to the championship tournament and weigh-in, the weekend will include the Future Lone Star Legends Youth Tournament, a youth fishing experience presented in conjunction with the TXTT Championship.

The no entry fee youth event will include High School, Middle School, and Elementary divisions giving young anglers the opportunity to compete for over $5000 in prizes.

The youth tournament weigh in will take place during Fan Fest, creating an exciting moment for the anglers to walk across the Championship stage and the community the opportunity to cheer on the next generation of anglers.
